This is a unique, student-focused role ideal for someone who values consistency, collaboration, and meaningful one-on-one impact.
**Special Education Teacher Job Description:**
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned to the student’s specific learning and developmental needs.
• Deliver targeted, differentiated instruction in a structured one-on-one setting.
• Collaborate closely with family members, translators, and support staff to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
• Apply specialized strategies and supports to promote academic progress and overall student well-being.
**Caseload details:** ASAP start, onsite only. Part-time with potential to grow. One student assignment with sessions beginning at 30 minutes per week, with the opportunity to increase up to 90 minutes per week. Student is Spanish-speaking; translator and parent present during all sessions. Student has a history of seizures—must be comfortable working within this setting. Must hold a Moderate/Severe (ESN) California CTC credential.
