JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Quality Manager Americas, reporting to the Head of Corporate Quality, is responsible for developing, deploying, and implementing the Corporate Quality Management System (QMS), including the Environmental Management System (EMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Code of Conduct (CoC)—across Nefab Americas sites.
This role ensures compliance with global standards and drives continuous improvement in quality, environmental, and information security processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the Regional Quality Manager for the Americas, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and corporate requirements.
- Create, maintain, and update corporate documents related to QMS, EMS, BCM, ISMS, and CoC.
- Implement and monitor corporate processes at both regional sites and globally; identify and drive process improvements for efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency.
- Support local sites in accurately implementing and maintaining QMS, EMS, ISMS, and CoC.
- Prepare local sites and sales teams for successful Customer Audits.
- Guide the interpretation and compliance with applicable regulations and standards, including those related to quality, environmental, information security, and those relevant to the CoC.
- Address customer complaints across regions and sites. Drive implemented corrective actions at other sites and regions. Coordinated with Global Key Account managers and other Regional Quality Managers.
- Conduct Internal audits as per the audit plan (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, CoC).
- Audit suppliers to ensure compliance with relevant quality, environmental, CoC and information security standards.
- Track and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Performance Indicators (PIs) to ensure corrective actions are taken when targets are not met.
- Deliver training to employees on quality, environmental, and ISMS, BCM, Risk Assessment, CoC, and best practices to ensure adherence to guidelines.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through innovation, collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork to achieve organizational goals.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
- University Degree or College Diploma in Quality or equivalent education/ experience.
- Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001.
- Formal training in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001 standards.
EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years in a Quality role at a global level.
- Experience working globally with a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, Business Continuity Management, and Code of Conduct (RBA or similar).
LANGUAGES
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Spanish is an asset.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Capable of creating documents, templates, and training materials.
- Read and understand drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Analytical skills to propose actionable insights based on KPI or PI trends.
- Proficient in risk assessment and improvement methodologies (SWOT, PFMEA/FMEA).
- Advanced problem-solving skills using tools such as 8D reports, 5 Why analysis, Fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Six Sigma tools and methodologies, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability (Cp, Cpk) analysis.
- Have experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and managing Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation. Familiar with the use of measuring devices and checking aids such as gauges.
