Job Summary
CNC Operators set up, run, and monitor computer-controlled machines (like mills, lathes, or routers) to produce metal or plastic parts according to technical specifications. They ensure parts are accurate, machines run smoothly, and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts and components
Load raw materials and set up tooling in machines
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as needed
Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Maintain production records and logs
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
Follow safety procedures and workplace guidelines Required Skills
Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
Basic math skills (measurements, tolerances, geometry)
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Familiarity with CNC controls and basic programming concepts (like G-code)
Ability to use precision measuring tools
Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
