Mold Designer / Moldmaker

Job Description

Small plastic injection mold shop needs individual that can both design molds and work on the shop floor.

Design duties include:

Design new molds

Incorporate engineering changes into existing molds

Pull electrodes for EDM

design jigs & fixtures, Etc.

Shop floor duties include:

P/M molds

operate manual machines

Bridgeport mill

surface grinder, lathe

assemble new molds

evaluate damaged molds for repair

machine mold components, Etc.

Willingness to do whatever needs to be done next is expected.

Must be able to sit at desk or be on your feet all day to preform tasks as needed.

Experience in the following a plus:

Cimatron software

CNC mill operation

CNC programing

Sinker EDM
