Commercial Interior Construction Superintendent

Prominent Long Island based commercial real estate developer and general contractor seeks experienced construction superintendent for Commercial Interior construction projects. In this role, candidate will represent the owner and its interests on site in the construction field operations and report to the in-house project management team. Responsibilities include the day-to-day coordinating and scheduling of the work to be performed by multiple subcontractors in accordance with the overall project schedule and other project requirements established by the project management team. Work will occur over multiple sites and be of varying complexity. Candidate will be responsible to ensure the work is carried out properly, of good quality and in a manner consistent with the drawings and specifications, industry standards and practices or other contract obligations. Candidate will coordinate municipal inspections with the progress of the work.

Candidate should possess experience in the supervision of work across the range of interior construction, including but not limited to light gauge metal framing, drywall, interior finishes, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work.
