Job Overview

Seeking an experienced CONTROLLER to lead the accounting department for a 42-year-old East End Louisville process technology company. The Controller will report directly to the CEO and is an integral part of the management team. The ideal candidate must display an ability to work well with inter-company departments.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise accounting team and normal accounting functions (A/P, A/R, Inventory control, Payroll, etc.)

Timely preparation/review of monthly financial statements

Accounts receivable management

Cash flow management

Preparation of monthly management reports

Liaison with outside accounting firm, insurance agents, bank treasury management and brokerage department

Job Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant

15 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years leading an accounting team

Thorough knowledge of and hands-on experience with Sage or a similar ERP system (Bus Central, NetSuite, SAP, Acumatica)

Strong Excel skills
