Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable CNC Machinist to join our industrial production team. You will set up and program various tools and equipment to create, modify, or repair precision parts. During production, you must monitor the machinery and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specifications. Accuracy is crucial to our production, so all candidates must have attention to detail and be extremely focused on their work.
Program and Operate CNC Machines including HAAS VF4,VF2, Manual Lathe,Bridgeport
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop machining process for existing and new products
Drive improvements for quality, safety and cost reductions
Specify Tooling to complete jobs
Provide input for procuring new equipment
Demonstrate capability in varying machining processes
Design Fixtures and tooling using CAD/CAM Software
Develop CNC Program using CAM software provided by company
QC finished parts according to customer/company provided tolerance drawings
Demonstrate proficiency at generating G-Code /CNC Programs
Operating Mill for program prove -out and test fixturing
Show proficiency at all phases of machining trade, measuring machined parts, hands-on work
Ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities
Assist mechanical assembly of welding automation machines with light assemblies duties
Utilize electrical hand tools, mechanics tools to complete jobs
Drive a tow motor/lift truck, use a cherry picker, mobile palette jack
Assist maintaining a clean shop, organize tools, clean up own machines
