Job Summary:
A CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision metal or plastic components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The machinist performs machine setups, inspects finished parts for quality and accuracy, deburrs and cleans components, and conducts routine machine maintenance to ensure safe and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or other machining equipment according to job specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets for each job.
Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain part accuracy and quality.
Perform in-process and final inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments.
Ensure all parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.
Deburr, clean, and finish machined parts to remove sharp edges and prepare them for final use or shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with shop safety and quality standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting.
Document production and inspection results as required.Requirements:
2-4 years of experience operating CNC Mills and or Lathes
Experience with HAAS machines is a plus
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and machining instructions.
Familiarity with precision measuring tools and inspection techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time, ability to bend and twist
Pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test and criminal background check

Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm or 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday
Compensation: $24 - $28/hour DOE
