Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech / X-Ray Technologist)

Contract Type: Travel

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 5 8 Days

Schedule: Mon–Thurs 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (36 hrs/week)

Pay: $2,260.00/week

Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech / X-Ray Technologist) to support a Pain Management service line in Hartsville, South Carolina. This role focuses on providing high-quality diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic and acute pain conditions.

The Rad Tech will perform radiographic and fluoroscopy-guided imaging procedures, operate specialized imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and imaging accuracy throughout all interventional pain procedures. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopic imaging procedures.

Support physicians during interventional pain management procedures.

Operate C-arm and fluoroscopy equipment.

Ensure high-quality image acquisition and proper positioning.

Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.

Provide patient care, comfort, and safety throughout procedures.

Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

BLS certification (AHA only) – required at submission

ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist certification

South Carolina Radiology Technologist License

Registered with SCRQSA (South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association)

Experience with fluoroscopy and interventional imaging procedures

Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and C-arms

Strong patient care, safety, and technical skills

Ability to work in procedural and clinical environments

Must meet physical and clinical demands of the role
