Job Description
Seeking proven Energy Educator / Service Technician with the technical savvy to assess small business utility customers energy usage, utilizing assessment tools. In addition to educating the utility customer on the findings, and outlining the cost saving projections, the Sales Representative will enroll the Utility customer enroll in Company incentives, and coordinate the installation of Energy Efficiency products.

Duties and Responsibilities of Energy Educator / Service Technician
Conduct outreach and education to targeted customers and schedule energy efficiency audits
Perform walk-through audits and record and enter key data points.
Secure Small Business participation in free or rebate program
Enter audit information in energy modeling program
Present audit results and prioritize work scopes for customers
Oversee installations, QAQC after
Maintain sales and closing quotas
Follow–up on any issues with customers after installations
Explain audit results to customers and effectively sell a project
Timely reporting of weekly activities and audit results with reporting Manager
Qualifications of Sales Representative:
High School Diploma
B2B sales with 2–5 years’ experience. Some energy sales desired but not required
Strong direct, door-to-door or cold call sales skills (Self-initiation & directive)
Knowledge of Lighting, Energy Efficiency in general in Small Business operates
Valid Michigan Driver’s License
Ability to pass the background check and Drug Test
