Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled NC Programmer to join our team specializing in precision machining for prototype and aerospace applications. This role requires expertise in advanced programming techniques for complex tooling and specialized manufacturing projects.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs for molds, dies, and aerospace components
Create comprehensive setup sheets for CNC operations
Program complex 3-axis and 5-axis machining operations
Collaborate with production teams to ensure optimal manufacturing processes
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Minimum 3 years of programming experience in molds, dies, or aerospace manufacturing
Demonstrated proficiency in 3-axis and 5-axis CNC programming
Technical Skills
Advanced mathematical capabilities
Proficient in blueprint interpretation and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Experience with precision measurement instruments and gauges
Tebis CAM software experience preferred (training available for qualified candidates)
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Manual dexterity for precision work
