Job Description

Shape precision parts that keep the world moving

At the Timken Aurora Bearing facility, you'll turn raw bar stock into mission-critical components using modern CNC lathes and mills. We’re hiring for both day and afternoon teams, with on-the-job training and clear paths for growth.

Compensation: Pay based on experience starting at $21.50/hr, plus $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift. A day in the life

You arrive, review the print, and plan the cut. You’ll choose the right arbor and fixtures, set speeds and feeds, and load inserts and tooling per the spec. Whether you’re programming a new job or operating proven code, you’ll:

Program and/or operate CNC equipment to machine I.D., O.D., facing, chamfering, grooving, and drilling operations to meet print requirements.

Select and swap arbors, fixtures, speeds, inserts, and tooling to match specifications on the drawing.

Run the first article, adjust offsets to hit all critical characteristics, and complete the setup paperwork for approval.

Load parts, cycle the machine, and inspect at defined intervals—making adjustments to hold tolerance throughout the run.

Keep machines running smoothly by monitoring fluid levels and general condition.

Surface grind and re-sharpen teeth on arbors as required. Shifts

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

2nd Shift: 3:30pm–12:00am

On-the-job training and growth opportunity available. What you bring
