Job Posting Summary
The Development Coordinator supports the organization's fundraising efforts by coordinating donor stewardship, development projects, and fundraising operations. Working under the direction of the Director of Development & Marketing, this role supports ongoing development initiatives by coordinating projects, supporting core development programs, and contributing to systems and processes that strengthen donor engagement and fundraising efforts.
Key responsibilities:
Coordinate donor stewardship and follow up
Support annual, major, and planned giving efforts
Draft donor communications and development materials
Manage donor records, gift processing, and reporting
Support fundraising projects, events, and board efforts
Requirements:
Bachelors degree, with preferred focus in communications, marketing, or business
2-3 years of nonprofit development/fundraising experience is highly preferred.
Experience with major gifts, annual funds, donor communications, sales, volunteer management, event planning/management experience is preferred.
Knowledge of MS Office software, Bloomerang or donor CRM management, digital donation tools
Valid driver's license
Availability to work occasional nights and weekends as needed
Mandatory attendance at a 4-day, 9am-5pm training program on the Home's trauma-informed care model within 6 months of hire
