QA Analyst/Tester (771045)

Formulate test strategies, utilizing knowledge of back-end and front-end architecture components. Define testable scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria. Utilize knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle including analysis, design, development, and testing of software applications in methodologies such as Agile (SCRUM), Iterative Software Development Life Cycle Process, across various environments and platforms which include Windows, Unix. Define test criteria and partner with data team to obtain data. Participate in Sprint-level, integration and regression test planning and execution. Design and develop scripts to run automated tests to ensure consistency, repeatability, and accelerate delivery. Determine priorities for test scenarios and create effective execution plans, perform manual and exploratory testing. Perform defect reporting and triaging. Analyze failure patterns and determine corrective actions to eliminate errors; adhere to quality software engineering best practices while helping drive changes to testing practices where necessary. Define test strategies based on project goals (Manual, Automation, Performance, etc.) Ensure the test coverage for all Functional and Nonfunctional requirements. Run unit, integration, system, regression, and User acceptance tests (UAT). Utilize understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries. Run load, stress, and performance testing using tools like JMeter. Create and maintain automated test scripts Selenium WebDriver and TestNG. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, to accelerate deployment cycles and improve test reliability. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, paid holidays and 401K. 5 years experience as a Systems Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, or related. Must have 5 years experience (simultaneous and concurrent with the experience required above) with SQL and database testing; Performing automation testing with Selenium and TestNG; Test Management tools (JIRA and TESTRAIL); CI/CD tools (Jenkins and GIT); SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum; Languages- HTML, XML, and UML; Mainframes (viz. COBOL II, DB2), JCL; and Environments integrating technologies including Teradata DB, Postgres DB, and Mainframe.

Bachelor’s degree in any field or foreign equivalent
