About the Role
The Finance Summer Intern will support the organization’s financial operations by assisting with reporting, budgeting, and day-to-day accounting processes. This role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit finance and offers the opportunity to contribute to work that directly supports the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with financial reporting, data entry, and account reconciliation
Support budgeting processes and expense tracking
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Assist with audits and financial compliance activities as needed
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within financial operations
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field)
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Interest in nonprofit or mission-driven financial work
