Project Engineer

HiFyve is hiring a Project Engineer in the Commercial Construction industry in Columbus, OH!

Salary: $32/hr and up depending on experience

Shift: Full-Time, On-site

Location: Columbus, OH

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist Project Manager with planning, timelines, billing, change orders, and collections to ensure successful project completion

Review job cost, manpower, and change order reports and support monthly project financial analysis

Communicate and coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients

Support manpower and equipment planning for active job sites

Attend and participate in weekly job site visits and project meetings

Assist with project setup, contract review, and ensuring accurate cost estimates and schedules of values

Track submittals, generate purchase orders, and assist with subcontract and vendor negotiations

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Knowledge of plumbing and piping installation practices

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Valid Driver's License required

OSHA 10 Construction certification required

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
