Plans, evaluates, and implements high quality medical care with appropriate resource management to patients, both adults and children in cooperation with center physicians.

Ability to interpret, implement and develop policies and procedures.

Provides and/or serves as a resource for patient/family and staff education.

Able to take medical history, assess medical condition and interpret findings.

Provides an authenticated report of all services rendered and maintains accurate and complete records in an acceptable manner.

Completes necessary documentation and ensures communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.

Skilled in developing and maintaining quality assurance and a continuous quality improvement program.

Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with patients, staff, and public.

Participates in meetings/activities as required to support operations of the clinic/practice.

Will work with physician specializing in liver & pancreatic cancer


PA with 2-5 years surgical experience

Oncology experience would be a plus


Masters Degree in Nursing

Certifications / Licensure:

Registration as a Physician’s Assistant and certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on the Certification of Physicians Assistants

Licensed Physician Assistant in accordance with the state

Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

Special Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Able to work in spite of interruptions

Able to meet deadlines under pressure

Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications

A positive attitude toward patients, families, and coworkers continually looking for ways to serve and impact guests positively in a variety of situations while being courteous, respectful, and friendly
