Application Production Support Engineer

Overview:

Role: Application Production Support Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL- 4 day onsite

Duration: Long term with potential to hire

Key Responsibilities

Deploy application code and support production services.

Monitor application performance and identify operational issues.

Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.

Analyze incidents and provide recommendations to application development teams.

Work closely with AppDev teams to resolve issues and improve system reliability.

Provide feedback to development teams on potential improvements.

Respond to production incidents and support on-call rotations.

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience with:

Java

Spring Boot

Angular

Experience with Azure Cloud and Kubernetes

Strong Oracle Database and SQL scripting skills

Experience troubleshooting and debugging production application issues

Monitoring & Observability Tools

Experience with one or more of the following:

Splunk

AppDynamics

Prometheus

Azure monitoring tools

Windsurf (AI) or similar monitoring platforms
