Pool Technician

Job Description

IV Pool Care is actively searching for an experienced and skilled Pool Maintenance Technician to enhance our professional team! If you have a strong understanding of pool systems, a knack for troubleshooting, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine pool cleaning tasks (skimming, vacuuming, brushing).

Conduct comprehensive water chemistry testing and precise chemical balancing.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, etc.).

Perform preventative maintenance on pool equipment.

Identify and repair leaks in pool plumbing and structures.

Install new pool equipment as needed.

Maintain accurate service records and inventory of parts.

Educate clients on proper pool care and equipment operation.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Manage and optimize service routes for efficiency.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in pool maintenance and repair.

Strong knowledge of pool chemistry, filtration systems, and hydraulics.

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing pool equipment.

CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and and customer service abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs) and work in various outdoor conditions.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
