What you'll do 4 Open Positions Provides general labor duties for State & federal Surplus: loads & unloads trucks; moves merchandise to specific location in warehouse; maintains clean warehouse (e.g., sweeps, mops, dusts); operates mechanical equipment (e.g., trucks, manual & electric hand jacks, carts) associated with movement of surplus property; operates truck when needed for pick up & delivery of surplus property; reports any mechanical equipment problems that may occur to immediate supervisor.
Assists in vehicle lot: drives & parks cars in vehicle lot; writes information on vehicle windshield; provides assistance during auction; other duties as assigned.
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division.
In accordance with Section 124.11 (B)(2) of Revised Code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.
