Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction projects from start to finish, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from planning and budgeting to scheduling and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of the construction project, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
Oversee the budget and financial aspects of the project, including cost estimation, tracking, and reporting.
Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Review and approve project plans, specifications, and other project documents.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify any potential issues.
Manage and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Prepare and present progress reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
3 years' work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services.
5 years of Management Experience.
Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment) as well as MS project, Procore and Bluebeam preferred.
OSHA 30 (or the ability to gain certification within 120 days of hire).
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with project management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
