Position: Supply Chain Analyst - I

Location: Minneapolis, MN

MUST HAVE: Strong Manufacturing experience to qualify for this position.

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing and enhancing the supply chain process within the organization to streamline operations and decrease costs.


Understand the business units, capacity planning and systems to work effectively with sales, R&D, production, vendors, internal and external customers.

Optimize supply flow though logistics leadership, internal and external customer service, lean manufacturing analysis and network design.

Manage logistics from supplier input materials through distribution and ultimately to the customer.

Effectively manage customer expectations thought out the order fulfillment process while fostering a long lasting cohesive partnership with customers.

Ensure accurate order placement by receiving PO's, entering orders, verify existing BOMs, schedule and acknowledge receipt.

Establish and maintain procurement planning and execution for our customers that complies with our business model providing opportunity for growth while containing costs.

Responsible for planning, scheduling and procuring raw materials/component goods for manufacturing.

Support strategic sourcing through procurement and scheduling to achieve source of supply changes and dual source initiatives.

Initiate and facilitate a production plan to establish lead time of each production operation according to sales forecasts and customer expectations.

Coordinate with operations, production teams, and warehouse to ensure customer orders are completed and shipped by customer due dates.

Understand and maintain a culture of "lean action" within the department.

Implement and maintain standards and processes that eliminate waste throughout the department.

Apply and utilize "lean tools" to permanently implement improvements.

Institutionalize 5S in all aspects of the department.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Bachelor’s degree (Required)

3+ years of Supply Chain experience (Required)

Manufacturing experience (Required)

3+ years of process improvement experience (Required)

3+ years of inventory management (Required)

3+ years of sourcing experience (Required)

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Preferred)

Collaboration, analytical and multi-task skills are a must

Outstanding problem solving skills and project management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
