Alexander Technology Group is seeking an energetic and customer focused IT support professional for our northern MA client. This is a tier one and two support position, troubleshooting user issues by phone and remote tools from their support center.

Required:

• Strong problem solving skills

• A confident, patient and personable phone manner

• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

• Strong PC and network troubleshooting skills.

• Understanding of Cloud technologies.

• Basics of network connectivity, systems, protocols, and security support.

What you will be doing will include

• Troubleshooting, resolving and documenting end user issues

• Basic systems administration tasks - in a largely Windows environment. Mac or Linux skills would be a plus

• Working with industry vendors as needed

• Occasional on-call responsibilities.

Education/Experience:

• Associates Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or relevant industry certification.

• 2+ years’ experience supporting end-user systems
