Laboratory Technologist

Hi,

We have an opening for an Extractionist / Laboratory Technologist role in Gertna, LA with a SAMHSA-certified forensic toxicology laboratory.

Shift: Monday–Friday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and extract samples for GC/MS confirmation testing

Prepare sample vials, reagents, controls, and calibrators

Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot lab equipment

Perform preventative maintenance and quality control procedures

Maintain accurate documentation and follow SOPs

Ensure confidentiality of donor information

Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or related science

Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory/testing experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Computer proficiency (Lab systems experience is a plus)

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

Flexible for overtime or shift changes if needed
