Software Engineering Lead - Java and DevOps

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Engineering focus on enriching the Customer Experience through high quality functional delivery, efficiency, testability, reliability, scalability, availability, and security of applications

+ Create and execute automated tests using Selenium to ensure product quality

+ Perform thorough manual testing to identify any potential issues with software performance

+ Collaborate with the development team to improve product quality through testing

+ Develop and maintain well-structured test plans and test cases

+ Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). **Required Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

+ 7+ years of experience in software development

+ Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for building scalable backend services

+ Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services including AKS, App Services, and Azure DevOps

+ Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and driving engineering excellence

+ Architecture & Design Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications

+ Deep understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices deployment

+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code

+ Proven exposure to AI/ML concepts, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and integration into enterprise applications

+ Leadership & Management Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams

+ Proven solid stakeholder management and communication skills

+ Proven Soft Skills Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset

+ Proven ability to mentor and grow engineering talent

+ Proven solid collaboration and decision-making skills
