Engineer 1 (771042)

Assist with the planning, design, and preparation for land development construction projects. Use knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in civil site design. Assist with computer-aided design (CAD) and design. Assist with site layout, erosion and sediment control, site grading, stormwater management and drainage, and water and sanitary sewer utilities for projects.

The employee may be permitted to work from home (20% of time) but must be able to report to the office on a regular basis (80% of time).

Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related/foreign equivalent. Must be eligible for Professional Engineer license in the state of Virginia or must be eligible to work under supervision to obtain the required experience and such license and must be otherwise eligible for such license.
