The position is responsible for overall plant performance and all its production related activities of the manufacturing floor, including planning, execution, coordinating and controlling all the steps of production process, ensuring quality products are delivered on time and within budget.
Role’s key accountabilities
Accountable for managing plant production activities across multiple shifts and/or departments to manufacture and deliver products that meet established quality, customer service, safety, innovation, and cost metrics consistent with schedule, policies, and performance expectations (DL %, FA %, EFF %)
Controls and efficiently utilizes production capacity, manpower and equipment through planning, organizing, and scheduling to minimize losses, works within the framework of the budget to optimize company profitability
Oversees the production of quality products, identifies quality improvement opportunity, places quality controls in place, and throughout his floor presence ensures quality checks and process expectations are performed as per company’s standards (LSW, 1st pc check, 2-hour checks, scrap report analysis)
Oversees production schedule execution ensuring hourly/ daily/weekly/monthly production targets are met through demonstrated on time to schedule delivery
Utilizes resources available (temps, O/T) as necessary to ensure production adherence to work schedule and customers deliveries
Develops training programs and cross-training matrix of manufacturing personnel and supervisors’ team, develops his team through couching, engagement, and motivations.
Actively engages with all employees of manufacturing personnel
Leads by example, creates the energy and positive atmosphere within his team
Establishes and implements LEAN manufacturing initiatives that improve business results and performance metrics
Implements standards of work and maintain improvement through sustaining behaviors, operating with discipline and rigor, sense of responsibility and accountability (i.e, daily housekeeping)
Verifies process disciplining through regular floor audits and data collection (Supervisors LSW daily audits, daily housekeeping, equipment daily maintenance, KPI review)
Takes a process view toward problem solving and improvement
Accountable for daily performance metrics update, daily production schedule posting, responsible for Areas KPIs clean and organize format boards
Responsible for shop tooling, consumables inventory (i.e., welding wire) and its reordering process
Responsible for timely submission of all function related paperwork and reports as required, (weekly RIFFs training, LSW reviews, shift reports, KPI reviews) and provides feedback on improvement
Responsible for providing production related reporting and updates to Director of Manufacturing as required
Responsible for shop cleanliness and safety of all employees

Qualifications and requirement
5-7 years’ supervisory experience in fabricating and welding manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of drawings & blueprint reading
Industry related experience
Employee training skills and knowledge
Strong working knowledge of safety regulations related to Frazier
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
Microsoft Office experience and solid understanding of its main functions ( Excel, Work, Power Point Presentation )
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
