About the Role

The T&I Project Supervisor is responsible for the safe, effective, and well-coordinated execution of capital project work in the field, supporting Project Managers by ensuring alignment between Operations, Contractors, and Project Engineering. This role emphasizes clear communication, disciplined field execution, and proactive risk management to deliver projects that meet safety, schedule, cost, and operational expectations.

The position serves as a key link between project planning and plant execution, ensuring that safety requirements, work plans, and schedules are clearly understood in the field, and that execution-related risks or constraints are identified early and communicated in time to support effective decision-making.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Act as the primary field point of contact between Operations, Project Managers, Engineering, and Contractors during construction execution.

Ensure scope, sequencing, and execution expectations are clearly communicated and understood prior to and during field activities.

Maintain ongoing coordination with Operations to align project work with plant operating conditions, shutdown windows, and operational priorities.

Provide timely, fact-based field feedback to Project Managers regarding constructability, resource needs, work sequencing, and emerging execution risks.

Maintain accountability for construction safety performance, ensuring Tronox SHE requirements are clearly communicated, understood, and enforced.

Set clear safety expectations with contractors and internal resources and reinforce safe work practices in the field.

Identify and address hazards, unsafe conditions, or behaviors early, escalating issues as required to prevent incidents.

Provide execution-focused input to Project Managers during DFS to support realistic implementation strategies and schedules.

Provide input and help develop detailed construction and shutdown implementation schedules following AFE approval, in coordination with Project Managers and Operations.

Support planning and execution of shutdown activities, including work sequencing, contractor coordination, and timing to minimize operational risk and downtime.

Track daily and weekly field progress against approved schedules and execution plans.

Identify schedule deviations, productivity concerns, and execution constraints early and communicate them clearly to Project Managers.

Support a no-surprises execution approach by proactively highlighting risks and recommending mitigation or recovery actions before impacts escalate.

Supervise construction activities from mobilization through FAT participation, commissioning, and turnover to Operations.

Ensure drawings, procedures, specifications, and quality requirements are implemented and controlled in the field.

Lead construction closeout activities, including closeout meetings, PSSRs, documentation completion, and lessons learned.

Prepare requisitions and manage T&I Project Management expenses in SAP.

Manage the Capital Laydown Yard to ensure proper material control, staging, access, and housekeeping.
