Support internal Senior Associates, Vice Presidents, Principals, and Managing Directors by applying qualitative and quantitative, financially backed analysis of leveraged buyout financial models, data metrics, and private equity transactions utilizing understanding of corporate finance, as well as detailed and infrastructure-focused mathematical and statistical techniques. Research and analyze global and regional financial market trends to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, as well as risk issues, across numerous business segments, focusing on Infrastructure across the Power & Utilities, Transportation & Logistics, Energy, Infrastructure Services, Digital Infrastructure, and Environmental Infrastructure sectors. Perform detailed reviews of technical, financial, tax, and commercial due diligence reports to support organization's asset due diligence process. Conduct research and build financial and portfolio models that relate to economic performance and financial flows in selected markets and institutions using different valuation methodologies (e.g. Discounted Cash Flow, Dividend Discount Model, Trading Multiples, etc.). Build up full three statement Financial Models (Profit and Losses, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), including valuation under different scenarios and returns modules for potential investment opportunities and current companies in organization's portfolio (across the Power & Utilities, Transportation & Logistics, Energy, Infrastructure Services, Digital Infrastructure, and Environmental Infrastructure sectors) using sector-specific expertise and efficiency in financial modelling and computing for purposes of valuations, financings, business plans, financial planning, and other forms of technical and financial engineering analysis. Identify and implement strategies to optimize the value of company's investments as well as assist with the acquisition of disposition investments. Develop and maintain financial models to conduct quarterly valuations of the organization's assets, using various methodologies (including Discounted Cash Flow, Precedent Transactions, and Public Comparables). Prepare reports, tables, deal summaries, and charts, presenting these research results to internal investment and executive teams and support due diligence efforts and the structuring and negotiation of transaction documents including different valuation scenarios, fund returns, full opportunity assessments and transaction structuring. Work on key transactional workstreams, including financial due diligence and operational due diligence for infrastructure-based investment opportunities as well as other markets under organization's portfolio of investments.
Some domestic/international travel is required.
Two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of private equity focused associate/consulting experience.
Bachelor's degree in Financial Computing, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
