Job
1.
Arrange visits for national and international guests, including cross-regional coordination, itinerary planning and logistics management. Provide reception and hospitality services during visit functions as required.

Support the team in providing 24/7 coverage for crisis management, manage ad-hoc visit and guest arrangements when required.

Lead and manage hospital and community events, including agenda coordination, communications planning, on-site execution and post-event reviews to drive continuous improvement.

Support the operation and maintenance of hospital/ cluster websites, digital broadcast systems and AI ambassador system.

Initiate creative content and engaging campaign ideas for staff, community and public to strengthen the corporate identity of Queen Mary Hospital and Hong Kong Island Cluster.

Assist senior management in monitoring and managing community relations and public concerns during crises or other sensitive issues.

Provide administrative support to the team.
Entry Requirements
1.
University degree or equivalent preferably with major in communications, public relations, journalism, mass media or marketing.
2.
At least 4 years of experience in corporate communications, event management or related fields.
3.
Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
Preferable Attributes/ Exposure
1.
Proven working experience in event coordination, client services or hospitality is preferred
2.
3.
Experience in crisis or incident management and community engagement activities.
Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
4.
Professional communication and coordination skills, with ability to handle logistics details with discretion and sensitivity.
5.
Proficiency in common computer applications e.g. MS Word, Powerpoint and Chinese word processing.
6.
Possession of formal management or hospital administration qualification is an advantage.
7.
Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and able to work independently under pressure.
8.
Familiarity with digital communication channels (e.g., websites, digital signage and broadcast tools) is an advantage.
9.
Willing to perform on-call duties as necessary.

This is a time-limited post up to 31 March 2027. The renewal / extension of appointment will be subject to service needs, availability of funding and job performance.

“Your major achievements in the recent 2 years of your serving hospital(s)”
Shortlisted candidates for interview will also be asked to present on the PowerPoint in the interview in no longer than 5 minutes.

Selected candidate will be posted to Queen Mary Hospital or other cluster hospitals and is subject to posting and development as services required in the Hong Kong Island Cluster.
