The Role
This position is responsible for the ongoing operation of production equipment, as well as the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and onsite services to support achievement of site objectives (Production, Quality, Spoilage). The role also actively contributes to electrical maintenance improvements to help meet production targets and maximise plant uptime. This role operates on a 12-hour rotating shift (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am).
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Operating production machinery and managing production information to continually improve line, machinery, and equipment performance
Conducting quality checks in line with the quality manual and standard operating requirements
Maintaining site equipment and machinery, including:
Performing preventative maintenance as scheduled
Dismantling, assessing, repairing, and reassembling, equipment, and components
Responding promptly to machine breakdowns and taking corrective action
Identifying and suggesting improvement opportunities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrating exemplary safety behaviour and leading by example in upholding health, safety, and wellbeing standards
About You
Relevant trade qualification - A Grade Electrical Licence
Experience in manufacturing, particularly high-speed, 24/7 production environments
Strong electrical aptitude and computer skills, including knowledge of PLCs
Maintenance experience, including preventative and corrective maintenance
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, and the environment
