The Asset Management Office is seeking an Asset Manager who will...

Assist with the financial oversight of the multifamily rental housing portfolio

Analyze property financials and operating metrics

Assist with management of ownership structure & financial changes requested by property owners

Work with partners to develop work out plans for troubled properties

Represent OHFA at meetings, conferences, seminars, and in-person UNUSUAL Working Conditions: May require occasional travel to attend conferences/trainings &/or visit properties subject to Asset Management oversight.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, applicants must demonstrate the following qualifications and skills on their application:

Associate's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in real estate, business management, accounting, finance or related field. Equivalent experience includes:

18 months experience with multifamily real estate, finance, and/or asset management, or

18 months experience with Budgeting or

18 months experience managing a portfolio of real estate, and familiarity with private financing and federal, state, and local government funding

To be successful in this position, the applicant must possess:

Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines.

Strong business writing skills.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements.

Sound understanding of multi-family real estate terminology and concepts with a working knowledge of LIHTC preferred.

Strong computer skills with excellent MS Excel skills.
