Job description*:

#Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform Steel structural design analysis using STAAD Pro.

• Develop and review detailed engineering calculations.

• Coordinate with other interdisciplinary teams (Modeling, Project Engineering and Sourcing) to meet deadlines.

• Review and approve Structural Engineering drawings

• Perform all connection calculations (Bolted/Welded)

• Provide technical support during project execution.

• Prepare detailed calculation reports and documentation.

• Strong understanding of engineering principles.

• Good Communication and teamwork abilities.

• Good Knowledge of local and international structural building codes.

• Supplier/Vendor coordination and technical review.

Mentor junior engineers and assist in their professional development through knowledge sharing and guidance.

#Skill set:

Powerplants, Oil & Gas – Steel Structural Design

Codes: IBC, AISC, ASCE, EN, IS

Strong Knowledge in Strength of Materials, FEA (Added Advantage)

#Key Words:

Steel Structure Design, STAAD, Connection calculations

#Tools:

Staad Pro, RAM Connections, IDEA Statica, Navisworks, AutoCAD, MS Office
