About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Café Manager to lead daily operations, drive team performance, and elevate the customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and can balance leadership with hands-on service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day café operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and consistency
Manage staff scheduling, shift coverage, and team accountability
Train, coach, and develop team members to maintain high performance and service standards
Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage vendor relationships
Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure a welcoming environment
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and company policies
Support marketing initiatives, events, and in-store promotions
Analyze sales, labor, and operational data to improve performance and profitability
Step in during peak hours to support barista/service operations as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of café, restaurant, or hospitality management experience
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to multitask and problem-solve in high-pressure situations
Experience with scheduling software (e.g., Sling) and POS systems
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in high-volume café environments
Background in inventory control and vendor coordination
Familiarity with community-based spaces
Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences
