Driver

American Rides Livery Service is an agency dedicated to providing the highest quality and safest transport to our community. We are currently contracted by the Department of Children and Families, various Connecticut municipalities, and additional agencies to facilitate transportation for school-aged children and general livery needs. Furthermore, American Rides serves as a premier Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider for VEYO/MTM. We take great pride in our reputation for reliability and safety, and we are looking for dedicated professionals to join our growing team.

Position Overview

We are seeking both full-time and part-time drivers to transport clients throughout the state. Our mission is to provide consistent, high-quality care to every passenger, whether they are traveling to an educational setting or a medical appointment. At American Rides, we prioritize a friendly and motivating employee culture, ensuring our drivers feel supported while they provide essential services to our neighbors.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour.

Schedule and Availability

Our operations begin daily at approximately 5:00 AM, with the final transport sequences typically concluding between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. We offer various scheduling options to accommodate different needs; however, we are currently prioritizing candidates who have availability for morning through afternoon shifts.

Qualifications and Requirements

To maintain our standard of excellence and comply with state and agency regulations, all employees must meet the following criteria:

Licensing: Drivers must possess and maintain a current driver's license appropriate for the specific category of the vehicle they are operating. This license must be carried at all times while operating a company vehicle.

Professionalism: Employees are expected to display the highest level of professional conduct, providing courteous and respectful service to all clients and agency partners.

Safety and Compliance: Drivers must strictly abide by all legal rules of the road and company safety protocols to ensure the well-being of our passengers.
