Introduction

We are seeking a skilled and innovative professional to join our team as a Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI. This role involves building and optimizing AI solutions to address complex business challenges. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Python programming, machine learning, and deep learning, with a focus on Generative AI projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience implementing Generative AI projects using open-source LLMs (Llama, GPT OSS, Gemma, Mistral) and proprietary APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic).

Experience in fine-tuning Large Language Models like LLAMA2, GPT-4 for various tasks using a custom dataset.

Expertise in prompting Large Language Models GPT-4, GPT-3, LLAMA2, Gemini Pro.

Strong Python development skills, comfortable with Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and feature engineering.

Strong background in Retrieval Augmented Generation implementations.

Prior work experience in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with various machine learning models such as Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression (LR), Random forest, Naïve Bayes, Neural Networks.

Experience with NLP techniques like word embeddings (Word2Vec, GloVe, Fasttext, Universal sentence encoder, contextual embeddings), topic modeling (LSA), search (FAISS, Elastic Search).

Experience in deploying machine learning models to platforms like Streamlit, HuggingFace Spaces, Heroku.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop and optimize Generative AI solutions to address complex business problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business processes.

Engage in hands-on coding to implement AI models and solutions.
