On-Target Earnings: $4,000–$15,000+/month

Verde Trader is a fast-growing marketplace for reusable industrial packaging, including IBC totes and other bulk containers. We help companies recover, reuse, buy, and sell containers nationwide, reducing waste while creating real cost savings for businesses.
We’re looking for driven sales talent—especially people with experience in freight brokerage, logistics, dispatch, transportation, or carrier/vendor sales—to help us expand our national vendor and customer network.

If you’ve worked in freight, you already know how to move fast, build relationships, negotiate, make calls, and manage a pipeline. This role uses many of those same skills, but instead of chasing loads and rates all day, you’ll be building a high-value network of vendors and customers in a growing recycling and reusable packaging marketplace.
You’ll be talking to businesses across the country, sourcing opportunities, qualifying leads, and helping create consistent recovery programs for reusable totes and containers.
Purpose of the Role
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in growing Verde Trader’s national marketplace. You’ll prospect and onboard new vendors and customers, help drive consistent tote recovery, and support a marketplace that keeps reusable containers in circulation.
Your work will help companies reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, and turn used packaging into value.
Responsibilities
Prospect new vendors and customers through outbound calls, email, and social outreach
Handle and qualify inbound leads
Book meetings and opportunities for Account Executives
Build and manage a consistent pipeline of vendor and customer prospects
Develop relationships with businesses in logistics, manufacturing, warehousing, food production, chemicals, recycling, and industrial supply
Track activity and follow-ups in the CRM
Hit and exceed monthly performance targets
What We’re Looking For
0–2 years of sales, customer-facing, freight, logistics, or transportation experience
Cold calling experience or confidence making high-volume outbound calls
Freight brokerage, dispatch, carrier sales, logistics, or transportation experience preferred
Strong communication skills and comfort on the phone
Competitive, self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset
Ability to handle rejection, follow up consistently, and keep a pipeline moving
Interest in sales, marketplaces, sustainability, recycling, or industrial operations
