Urgently Hiring Packing & Slitter Operators! $19.25-$21.75/hr
The Packing / Slitter Operator supports manufacturing operations by packaging finished products, tracking materials using RF scanners, and operating or assisting with production equipment. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow work instructions in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Operators may focus on packaging duties or be trained to operate slitting equipment based on business needs and experience.
Available Schedules
B shift: 6pm-6am, Sunday-Tuesday (every other Saturday)
C shift: 6am-6pm, Thursday-Saturday (every other Wednesday)
D shift: 6pm-6am, Wednesday-Friday (every other Saturday)Key Responsibilities
Package and prepare finished products for shipment according to quality and safety standards
Operate RF scanners to track product movement and inventory accuracy
Perform basic shipping and receiving functions
Read and follow work instructions, production schedules, or bills of materials
Assist with or perform machine set ups and changeovers as trained
Operate production or slitting equipment after training
Thread materials into machines and adjust settings as required
Monitor production for quality and report defects or issues
Perform basic troubleshooting, including stopping equipment and correcting material issues
Complete quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety policies and proceduresRequired Skills & Qualifications
Assembly, kitting, or packaging experience
Manufacturing or production environment experience
Strong reliability and attendance
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
High School Diploma or GED (required)Preferred Skills
General labor or assembly line experience
Packaging line or labeling experience
Machine operation or production equipment experienceWork Environment
Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility
Comfortable and well-maintained work areas

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, KY.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
