Salary: $53,000/yearly
QUALIFICATIONS:MSW Degree, or a Masters Degree in a related field. Experience in working with children, adolescents and families; experience in individual, family, and group therapy; skills in interagency relations; good time management and organizational skills; maintain up to date case file documentation per agency requirements; interest and background to work with juvenile delinquents. Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences of individuals and families in groups outside ones own.
RESPONSIBILITIES
I. CASE MANAGEMENT
Completes all mental health assessments, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries for all clients as required by the redeploy contract.
Schedules, conducts all necessary staffing- including but not limited to intakes, pre-court, monthly progress, emergency, inter-agency, and termination.
Maintains appropriate case records, written reports, and ensures all documentation has met deadlines on a timely basis.
Maintains clients confidentiality in accordance to Illinois Law and YSBIV policies and procedures.
Develops therapeutic strategy with Outreach Supervisor.
Conducts individual, group, and family therapy where applicable, as designated by the Outreach Supervisor.
Provides in-home support and assistance to families when applicable.
Provide linkage with individuals and families to other community resources when appropriate.
Advocate for the client/their families in regard to their right to treatment, appropriate treatment, and their right to dignity.
Co-leads all ART groups. A minimum of three annually.
II. MANAGEMENT/ SUPPORT DUTIES
Works with Outreach Supervisor in area of program development.
Researches and keeps current on field developments, including: contributing to the field through writing articles, developing workshops, speaking to professional groups, and developing accountability and growth within the program and agency.
Responsible for program and statistical reports, as directed by the Outreach Supervisor.
Other duties as designated by the contract we serve.
Actively participates in YSBIVs continuous Quality Improvement program
