What You Will Get

You receive your wage rate, healthcare benefits, and retirement through Local 208 union.

1st year: $23.58/hr

2nd year: $25.93/hr

3rd year: $28.29/hr

4th year: $33.01/hr

5th year: $40.08/hr

What You Will Do:

Install HVAC-related equipment following Bell’s policies and manufacturer’s specifications

Carry out the wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment

Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering

Install flex and sheet metal duct systems

Ensure connection of gas lines to heating equipment is properly done

Determine the right material needed for installation work by pre-measuring jobs

Receive all materials and equipment required for each job, confirm, and load them into company vehicle

Provide necessary support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time as instructed by management

Create and maintain cordial and collaborative working relationships with both superiors and co-workers

Ensure all paperwork needed for each job is accurately filled out

Carry out readings on machines with a full understanding of the implication of such readings

Ensure assigned company vehicle is kept clean

Perform any other duty that may be directed by management

Minimum Job Requirements:

Interest in learning HVAC through hands-on learning

Possess high school diploma or GED or equivalent

Ability to operate in heat and cold for a long period of time

Ability to lift heavy items weighing safely

Ability to climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or/and kneel continually

Preferred Job Requirements:

1 year experience as HVAC installer

Eligibility for employment at Bell Plumbing & Heating is contingent upon a background check that does not contain a conviction(s) of a felony(ies) within the last 5 (five) years from the date of background check.

Since this position will be driving a company-provided vehicle, a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) does not contain any of the following in the last 5 (five) years from the date of the MVR check:

Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Vehicular manslaughter

Using a vehicle to commit a felony

Hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident

Fleeing/eluding police or resisting arrest

Reckless driving

Speeding more than 15 mph over limit

Open container violations

Operating vehicles with a suspended/revoked license

Passing a stopped school bus

Railroad crossing violation
