Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, high-ownership Lead Full-Stack Engineer to take over the technical roadmap of our financial data platform. You will be responsible for maintaining and scaling a financial reporting platform and building high-performance web-based Excel integrations to support audit and tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership: Own the end-to-end technical strategy for an Angular, OfficeJS (Frontend) and Flask (Backend) ecosystem.

Server Deployment: Deployment of web applications on internal/company servers and manage production uptime and incident response.

Advanced Office Integration: Develop and maintain web-based Excel Add-ins using Office.js to bridge the gap between our platform and professional financial workflows.

Mentorship: Act as the primary technical mentor for junior developers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Technical Initiative: Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions without waiting for external direction.

Technical Requirements

Skills

Frontend

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular (Latest versions), TypeScript, RxJS.

Backend

Python, Flask, Pandas, RESTful API design, SQL Server.

DevOps/Tools

Git, Apache, Backend & Frontend deployment [Apache / NGINX]

Office Ecosystem

Office.js, Excel Add-in development (Strongly preferred, but not required)

Qualifications & Soft Skills

Experience: 5+ years in full-stack development, preferably within FinTech.

Ownership Mentality: A proven track record of taking initiative and solving complex technical challenges independently.

Leadership: Experience mentoring junior staff and making high-level architectural decisions.

Communication: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear instructions for stakeholders, and junior peers.
