Production Operator (Paint Department)

1st OR 2nd SHIFT/$18-$21/hr/FULL TIME

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with an automotive manufacturer.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily paint line operations, including prep, application, curing, and material flow

Train associates on paint processes, equipment use (spray systems, booths, ovens), and safety procedures

Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot paint equipment to ensure proper coverage, adhesion, and finish quality

Oversee quality checks, defect identification (runs, sags, coverage issues), scrap tracking, and rework, escalating issues as needed

Requirements

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial paint environment

Knowledge of paint application methods, equipment setup, and basic troubleshooting

Ability to lead, train, and support team members in a production setting

Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
