Key Responsibilities – Accounting Manager

Oversee daily accounting operations with an emphasis on accrual-based accounting

Manage core functions including Accounts Payable, Payroll, and balance sheet activities

Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of financial records

Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system upgrades

Set clear workflows, timelines, and expectations across the accounting team

Partner with the Controller on enhancing accounting processes and infrastructure

Coach, mentor, and manage accounting staff to support development and performance

Assist with audits, compliance, and internal reporting needs

Serve as a strategic and operational partner to finance leadership

Qualifications – Accounting Manager

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Active CPA required

6+ years of progressive accounting experience

Public accounting experience strongly preferred

Previous leadership or supervisory experience

Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual accounting

Experience improving processes and implementing system enhancements

Background managing AP, payroll, and balance sheet functions

Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
