Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license

Previous experience in a Catheterization Laboratory setting

Proficiency with cardiac monitoring equipment and emergency response protocols

Strong IV skills and the ability to administer medications accurately

Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures

Monitor patients’ vital signs and procedural tolerance throughout their stay in the Cath Lab

Administer medications, contrast agents, and perform patient assessments pre- and post-procedure

Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes within electronic medical records

Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care

Adhere to institutional policies and infection control standards to ensure patient and staff safety

Facilitate smooth patient flow within the department, working collaboratively with physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff
