AI/ML Engineer (Remote, US) - High-Growth AI Company

Comet Recruitment is hiring an AI/ML Engineer on behalf of our client - a high-growth AI company at the forefront of applied machine learning in the education sector. This is a rare opportunity to build AI systems that directly impact how millions of people learn.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Design and implement LLM-powered features using OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-source models

- Build and maintain ML pipelines and data infrastructure

- Fine-tune and evaluate language models for educational applications

- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship AI features

- Stay current with the latest AI/ML research and apply it practically

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 4+ years of ML/AI engineering experience

- Strong Python skills with PyTorch or TensorFlow

- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering

- Experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases

- Understanding of model evaluation and A/B testing

NICE TO HAVE

- Published research or open-source contributions

- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks

- Background in NLP or computer vision

COMPENSATION

$140,000 - $180,000 base, full-time, fully remote (US-based).
