This position functions as a Student Library Assistant to assist patrons of the Health Sciences Library. Duties include checking in and out library materials using the online circulation system; assisting patrons with the operation of the library catalog, online databases, and library equipment; directing patrons to library resources, services, and spaces; answering phones and responding to patron questions; other duties and special projects as assigned. Additionally, this position will be responsible for independently opening and closing the library on certain days.

This position requires weekend and evening hours.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Student must be enrolled in a degree-granting program at OSU. Customer service and library experience desirable but not required. Basic office and computer skills are required.
