Key Qualifications:Active RN license in good standingPrevious experience working in a Cath Lab settingAdvanced knowledge of cardiac procedures, monitoring, and equipmentProficient in EKG interpretation and hemodynamic monitoringBLS and ACLS certifications requiredStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExceptional communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy Primary Responsibilities:Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization proceduresMonitor and document patient vital signs and procedural dataAdminister medications and manage IV therapies as orderedPerform thorough pre- and post-procedure patient assessmentsEnsure compliance with infection control and safety policiesProvide vital education and emotional support to patients and their families before, during, and after proceduresRespond swiftly to patient emergencies and critical situationsMaintain accurate and detailed records in electronic medical systems Experience the reward of contributing to optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic cardiovascular unit.
