We’re hiring: Sr. ODI Developer – Contract Boston, MA

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. ODI Developer to join a Private Banking Systems team, playing a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a data engineering professional with strong expertise in Oracle technologies and ETL/ELT pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage ODI mappings, packages, procedures, load plans, and agent configurations

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

• Develop high-performance PL/SQL queries, procedures, and data loading processes

• Monitor and troubleshoot ODI workflows, RMJ jobs, and data pipelines in Linux environments

• Perform root cause analysis and ensure system reliability and scalability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DBAs, and business stakeholders

• Automate workflows using Python and shell scripting

• Maintain documentation, participate in code reviews, and support production issues

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with ODI, Oracle Data Warehouse, PL/SQL, Linux, and Python

• Strong understanding of data modeling and enterprise data environments

• Experience with CI/CD practices, Git/Bitbucket, and Agile methodologies

• Proficiency in troubleshooting using logs and system diagnostics

• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (APIs, SFTP/FTP, IP/ports)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Private Banking or financial services

• Familiarity with tools like Apache Airflow and dbt

• Exposure to cloud or hybrid data architectures

• Knowledge of financial applications like FIS AddVantage, CRD, or CRM Pivotal
