Are you an electrical engineer in Florida who's good at what you do — but feels like the firm you're at isn't giving you the room to prove it?
This might be worth 5 minutes.
A nationally recognised, employee-owned engineering firm is looking for an electrical engineer to join their Orlando operation. But this isn't a standard hire.
You'd be coming in as the number two electrical person in Florida, reporting directly to the practice leader, with real scope to help build and shape the market on the east side of the state.
It's entrepreneurial. It's autonomous. And for the right person it's the kind of opportunity that simply doesn't come around often at a firm with this reputation.
The role:
Lead electrical design across power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and voice/data systems for healthcare, higher education and government facilities
Work directly with clients and own projects end to end
Help grow the Florida practice — this is building something, not maintaining something
What they need:
6-11 years in facilities electrical design
PE license — or actively working toward it through reciprocity
Revit and AutoCAD experience
Based in or willing to relocate to the Orlando area
What makes this firm different:
Fully funded ESOP — you become an actual owner
Ranked Best Firms to Work For multiple years running
Small enough to move fast, established enough to work on projects that matter
Direct access to leadership and a genuine mentorship culture
The package: Up to $140,000 base + ESOP ownership + full benefits + tuition reimbursement
The engineers who thrive here are the ones who want to build something — not just execute someone else's vision.
