Job Title: Operations Planner – Lingerie & Apparel (L&A)
Location: Reynoldsburg, Ohio
Pay Rate: $30 - $33.79/hour
Job Type: Contract / Project-Based
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Role Overview
The Operations Planner – Lingerie & Apparel is responsible for managing end-to-end production and order planning activities across multiple product categories. This role ensures accurate order execution, delivery tracking, and cross-functional coordination to support business objectives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Order & Production Planning
Manage purchase order (PO) lifecycle, including creation, updates, and maintenance
Monitor order status, delivery timelines, and production milestones
Track key production dates (e.g., dye, cut, and shipment schedules)
Maintain accurate on-order reporting and planning data
Issue Resolution & Coordination
Partner with offshore teams to ensure accurate system updates (e.g., SAP/Mainframe)
Resolve order discrepancies and production issues
Escalate critical risks and delays as needed
Support speed orders and urgent production needs
Liabilities & Risk Management
Review and track liabilities related to orders
Ensure timely confirmations and reporting
Support cancellation processes and maintain documentation
Assist with dispute resolution and risk mitigation
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Planning, Logistics, Merchandising, Vendors, and Product teams
Communicate order status, risks, and updates to stakeholders
Participate in regular planning and production meetings
Reporting & Analysis
Maintain and publish order schedules
Track performance metrics such as delivery timelines and delays
Support data analysis and reporting for business insights
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
1–3 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or operations
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in apparel, retail, or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP
Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights
Key Skills
Detail-oriented with high accuracy
Agile and able to manage multiple priorities
